WHO Futures

WHO Futures is a project for the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office to identify younger people’s visions and priorities for the future beyond COVID-19, building an understanding of what young people think life will be like in the next 10-15 years.

Exploring collective visions of the future

Young people have the greatest stake in what emerges in our collective futures, including as we emerge from the current pandemic, yet their voices are weakest in discussions about the future, and what actions are being taken today.

This project is a collaboration with WHO Western Pacific Regional Office who are building their understanding of what young people think life will be like in the next 10-15 years.

It is the start of an ongoing conversation that WHO WPRO is committed to having with young people on an ongoing basis.

Participants are Asia-Pacific innovators and futurists who are committed to journaling daily and sharing their visions of the future. Using a tool called SenseMaker they are spending a few minutes each day sharing what has inspired their thinking about the future.
