Muhammad Azwar Izzat


My name is Muhammad Azwar Izzat bin Najirahmat and I am currently a student in Universiti Brunei Darussalam on my third year and second semester. I am doing my degree program in Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences majoring in History and International Studies. As of right now, I am doing a Community Outreach Program in Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital under Dementia in Geriatric and Palliative Unit. This program is required by my university as part of my Discovery Year Program. I have been working extensively in raising awareness on Dementia in Brunei Darussalam and I will be working with Brunei National Radio Station and Radio Television in the near future to write scripts, advertisements and conducting interviews on Bruneians’ knowledge in Dementia. I will also be working with Borneo Bulletin to write an article on this disease that will be published in the newspaper in the coming month. Personally, I am interested in world politics and economic events and I would like to further my knowledge in modern sociology as well as medical health and science. I have basic knowledge in the world of economics, socio and political matter. I am self-motivated, creative and is able to work independently and under pressure. I am good with discussions and debates and in addition, I have great computer skills working with Microsoft Office, editing videos and pictures.
