Sally Lin is a Chinese-Canadian who grew up to thrive between places, cultures, and identities. Having completed parts of her education in Vancouver and in Shanghai, she will be graduating December 2020 with a B.A. in Human Geography and Political Science at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She is a creative problem solver and skilled dialogue facilitator with background in community building, advocacy, and is volunteering for a non-profit for clean-energy transitions. She has a strong passion for comparative policy and sustainable urbanism. Currently, Lin is supporting the work of UNESCO to advance Futures Literacy, an essential competency that reveals anticipatory assumptions and allows participants to engage with different futures, through learning-by-doing workshops called Futures Literacy Laboraties.
