Maurice Wee

My name is Maurice Wee and I was born and raised in Malaysian Borneo. I am 28 years of age and I am currently working from home as a consultant with UNDP Malaysia. My work requires me to coordinate, catalogue and report on UN agencies’ response and programmes relating to the socio-economic impact of the pandemic in Malaysia. I have an expertise and a passion on the nexus between business and human rights which I find challenging and highly rewarding. In my free time I play the violin as part of an orchestra which has been on hold due to the pandemic. I have just moved back after being abroad for a few years and am navigating working from my hometown which is affected by a diaspora due to limited economic opportunities and the natural shift to bigger cities.
