Khim cathleen Saddi

My name is Khim Cathleen Saddi. Just a small town girl who dreams big from the Philippines. I finished engineering school with the Degree of BS Civil Engineering 7 years ago and pursued a career in the construction industry for almost 6 years. I had a blast building infrastructures here and there all over the Philippines yet I always felt like something was missing. When I immersed myself with an interdisciplinary pool of engineering graduate students, I realized there's a future that is more than myself, and that I know I need to do something about it. So I went home soon after I got my masters degree in engineering and enrolled in another masters degree, this time on Natural Resources management. Currently, I am a faculty member of the civil engineering department. Though at first I am unsure, after finishing the academic year, I am convinced that this is where I am supposed to be. My hope is that with proper guidance, through our students, we can all change the world. I am passionate to work on research, spread awareness and help kids broaden their perspective in engineering and the environment.
